My relationship and my experiences with grandpa help guide me throughout my life. Fathers are very influential in their children’s lives , and I can sympathize with your feelings about your father. I wish I could have spent more time with grandpa and known him better.
People say that the mark of a man isn’t what he does in his lifetime, but what he leaves behind when he says goodbye. Grandpa helped raise you to be a wonderful mother, and I am proud to be part of this family. In the days that follow, let us all keep his memory with us.
